Lip modeling with hyaluronic acid is one of the most popular aesthetic medicine treatments. It consists of injecting the labial red with a preparation of hyaluronic acid (under local anesthesia) in order to enlarge and shape the lips. The treatment is recommended to reduce asymmetry, in the case of volume loss, lip line loss and excessive lip dryness.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide, present in the human body, which makes the lip modeling procedure completely safe.
Treatment plan
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance, so it is removed from the body spontaneously. The durability of this procedure effects is an individual feature and depends, among others, on genetic conditions and diet. Therefore, the effects of the treatment may last from 6 to 12 months. The procedure can be safely repeated when you feel that your lips are losing their dream shape.
Treatment effects
Lips are better moisturized, regain their youthful firmness and color. The first effects are visible immediately after the treatment, while the final effect is achieved about 2 weeks after filling, when the acid binds water and settles in the tissues.

Preparation for the procedure
- take Rutinoscorbin 15 (tablets) daily for 2 days
- drink 2l of water a day
- if you are prone to herpes, taking Heviran 4x 200 mg a day for 2-3 days is recommended
- do not take painkillers 48 hours before the procedure
- do not drink alcohol 48 hours before the procedure
- no exfoliation the epidermis in the treatment area for about 4 weeks before the procedure is recommended
- do not use a sauna and do not do intense physical exercise on the day of the procedure
- do not expose the skin to sunlight one week before the procedure
After the procedure
The treatment does not require a recovery period. The lip area may be slightly swollen, but the swelling usually disappears after about 2 days.
- special hygiene of the treatment site should be taken care of,
- avoiding makeup for 48 hours after the treatment is recommended,
- intensive physical exercise should be avoided 48 hours after the procedure,
- do not drink alcohol 48 hours after the procedure,
- the treated area should not be massaged,
- avoid the sauna, swimming pool, solarium and gym for a week after the treatment,
- drink a minimum of 2.5 liters of water a day for 2 days after the procedure,
- avoid hot drinks and meals
- do not eat spicy foods
- do not eat allergenic products (e.g. seafood, nuts, citrus, raw fish).
