The ResurFX laser is a non-ablative fractional erbium laser, the beam of which is transmitted deep into the skin, creating a network of microscopic damage. It causes controlled tissue damage without the ablation effect (it does not affect the structure of the top layer of the epidermis). Regenerating skin is stimulated to produce collagen and elastin. The unique system of topical skin heating has a "focused" effect exactly in the area where collagen stimulation is expected.
ResurFX is the only laser of this type that gives the desired results after just one pass through the treated area, saving time and ensuring safety for the skin at the same time.
With ResurFX laser treatments, the stratum corneum remains intact, which preserves its protective properties and minimizes unwanted side effects. The treatment is comfortable and the subsequent swelling
and redness are minimal.
Treatment plan
A significant improvement in skin color and texture can be observed after just one treatment. Only 3-5 treatment sessions performed every 4 weeks are enough to obtain visible results. Depending on the type, extent and location of the lesions, performing a larger number of treatment sessions might be necessary. The final number of treatment sessions depends on the skin reaction and its individual regenerative abilities.

Contraindications
- pregnancy, breastfeeding,
- medications, photosensitizing herbs (used 2 weeks before the procedure),
- oral retinoid therapy (treatment completed less than 6 months before the procedure),
- neoplasms,
- active herpes,
- albinism,
- psoriasis,
- pacemaker.
Preparation for the procedure
- no sun exposure for 4 weeks before the treatment,
- stop using self-tanning creams 1 week before the procedure,
- stop using creams containing retinol and vitamin C 2 weeks before the procedure,
- stop using herbs, i.e. St. John's wort, calendula 2 weeks before the procedure,
- Do not use body scrubs for 1 week before the treatment.
After the procedure
You might experience skin redness and swelling immediately after the treatment. There is also a slight burning sensation that usually disappears about 2 hours after the treatment.
The redness intensifies one day after the treatment and this condition may last for about 2-5 days
- do not drink alcohol for 48 hours,
- take special care of the hygiene of the treated areas, avoid alcohol-based cosmetics and other substances that may cause skin irritation, e.g. perfumes, deodorants, soap, and do not rub the skin for about 3-5 days,
- the treated skin should not be exposed to sunlight for about 2 weeks,
- a 50 SPF sunscreen or more should be used,
- avoid scrubs and other exfoliating preparations about 2 weeks after the treatment,
- avoid excessive physical exercise during the first days after the procedure,
- avoid using cosmetic products based on alcohol and other substances that may irritate the skin of the post-treatment site, e.g. perfumes, deodorants, soaps immediately after the treatment,
- avoid hot baths and saunas for about 2 weeks.
