Exion radiofrequency microneedling is an effective tool for wrinkle reduction, improving skin elasticity, and increasing firmness. The procedure involves inserting microneedles under the skin, where radio energy is generated to stimulate regenerative processes and collagen production.

Contraindications

Preparation for the procedure
- Avoid tanning or using self-tanners for 2 weeks before the procedure.
- Discontinue injectable treatments with neurotoxins, collagen, fat, or other biomaterials in the treatment area for 3 months before the procedure.
- Stop using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs one week before and after each treatment.
- Stop using retinol cream 2 weeks before the procedure.
- Stop using exfoliating products 1 week before the procedure.
After the procedure
- Redness and swelling appear on the skin immediately after the procedure, usually disappearing within 2 to 24 hours.
- A feeling of warmth occurs during and immediately after the procedure.
- Skin dryness may appear in the first 12 hours after the procedure, usually disappearing within 48 hours.
- Temporary disruption of the skin’s natural texture.
- For about 3-5 days, take special care of the treated areas, avoid alcohol-based cosmetics and other irritating substances (e.g., perfumes, deodorants, soap), and do not rub or scrub the skin.
- For about 2 weeks, avoid exposing treated skin to sunlight.
- Use sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher.
- Avoid peels and other exfoliating products for about 2 weeks after the procedure.
- Avoid excessive physical exercise in the first few days after the procedure.
- Avoid hot baths and saunas for about 2 weeks.
